On iPhone and iPad, Capi uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. When you open an app you chose to block during a session, iOS shows its own shield screen. Capi never sees which apps you picked. Apple's picker hands the app an opaque token, not a name or icon.
On Android, Capi uses an Accessibility Service to notice when a blocked app comes to the foreground, and shows its own block screen. It reads only the package name of the app in front, never screen content, and only while a session is running.
Ending your session in Capi lifts the block. On iOS, the only other way out is Settings > Screen Time, where you can revoke Capi's permission entirely, which clears every block at once.
Open Settings > Restore purchases in the app. Purchases are tied to your account, so make sure you're signed in with the same one you bought on.
Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play, not by us, so they're cancelled there: on iOS in Settings > your name > Subscriptions, on Android in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
Your streak, session history and progress sync across your devices, and buddies and shared study goals need an identity to connect to. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's stored.
A streak continues as long as you finish at least one session each day, judged in your device's own time zone. Miss a day and it resets. A streak shield, if you've earned one, covers a single missed day.
In the app: Settings > Delete account. If you've already uninstalled it, use the account deletion page.
